Puppy Update - New Foster Mom

Well, you never know what the day will bring, do you?
Meet Gracie, Monny, and Bandit.  They are 5 month old purebred Chihuahuas.  And, no, they are not mine.  Not exactly.  I am their new "foster mom" until I can find them good homes.

They are the same age as our puppies and they are enjoying learning about each other and we are enjoying watching them and helping them learn to be good little house dogs. They literally went from a quiet tiny room locked up together to a loud and rambunctious house full of dogs and kids - and they are LOVING it.  They haven't been socialized up to the day they came here but they are fitting in quite well.  Today is their first day of experiencing sunshine and being outside.  It's so nice to have puppies their age to teach them the "rules" too.

The one who has had the hardest time learning to "share" has been the Bunny.

It's good for her though!  Good for all of them in fact.

Throwing this in for fun.  This is Diego getting a bath.  I've had a lot of dogs over my lifetime but I have never saw one that would lay down, get comfy in the sink and enjoy it.

Here we go....meet Bandit.  Of the three, he's the tallest.

Bandit is a happy little guy that loves to run, chase and play.  He and the Bunny seem to have a love/hate relationship.  He loves the bunny, and she loves/hates him.

She's sharing her bed with them whether she knows it or not....
Meet Gracie.  I've never seen a gray Chihuahua, but here one is.  She is quite athletic and as a result, the thinnest of her siblings.  She likes playing with Bear the most.
I don't know why, but she reminds me of a fawn.
This girl is something else to look at.

Here's Monny.  He is the smallest of the three and quite the cuddler.  He is more timid than the others thus far.  He enjoys playing with Diego.

Somebody want a little cuddily baby boy?

Last but certainly not least, here's Diego our big fatty furball.  He is the floppiest, funniest dog around.  He was afraid of the new puppies at first but now he's just super tired.  They can run and run and run.  He's more slow and dopey yet.  But, he's a good foster brother to all of them but most especially Monny who needs extra love.

If you are interested in adopting one of these, you may contact me at bud110@aol.com for more info.
